Inventors Randy Gatlin, Sr. and Marilyn Gatlin of Denison, TX have created an innovative new cup holder to keep cups from breaking or collapsing.
Drinks are a must when grabbing food or traveling in the car. But if a cup is squeezed too tight, it can break and spill all throughout your vehicle. With kids, Randy and Marilyn experienced this mess from time to time. In fact, some soda stains were so stubborn they wouldn’t come out. Even adults have issues with grasping the cups wrong or too tight causing a big mess. In turn, Randy and Marilyn were inspired to develop a cup holder to solve the issues associated with takeout cups. Thus, saving the frequent buyers, as well as themselves, time and money.
The invention is a sturdy, reusable holder for plastic, Styrofoam®, or paper cups of all sizes. It evenly distributes pressure on the cup to keep it from breaking or collapsing. Its handle makes it easy to lift cups out of car holders or carry cups to a picnic or on a walk. Best of all, it prevents spills, stains, and wasted cups.
